A Classic English Tea Room Set in Beautiful Heritage Surroundings

Autumn & Winter Closures
Well that seems to be the end of Summer so its time to dig out the hats and wooly socks (shoutout for the sheep). We will keep running to our usual Tuesday to Saturday timings apart from the following:
Closed from Sunday 5th to Tuesday 14th October for staff holidays, open again Wednesday 15th.
Closed from Sunday 21st December (Christmas & New Year) right through to early February (opening date tbd).

About The Quirky Teapot
The Quirky Teapot is one of those idyllic destinations that's full of classic character. Set within the grounds of Staplehurst Grange, with it's delightful courtyard full of historic interest and beautiful rolling countryside all around, it's perfect for a delicious pot of coffee and cakes, a light lunch or one of our specialities such as Afternoon Tea.

The Tradition of Teas
Please come and join us for some English tradition. Do you know the difference between a Cream Tea and an Afternoon Tea? Well, just in case you don't (and it's a very English thing), a cream tea is a scone with cream, jam and a pot of tea, and an afternoon tea is savoury sandwiches and sweet cakes on a tea stand, also with a pot of tea.
